Throughout the semester we frequently organise Data Science Meetups, where we invite speakers to share their recent projects, interesting papers or experiences. Moreover, we provide you insights fascinating companies and institutes, by offering workshops, and field trips. But what would all that be without being able to apply your skills? That's why we host our two flagship events, the ACE Datathon and Hack4Good.
How can we use data science to achieve social impact? Come and see it for yourself at the final event of Hack4Good on November 18, 2020, at 18:00. Registration link at the bottom.
Hack4Good is a student-driven program powered by the @Analytics Club at ETH and the @ETH Student Project House. In the last 7 weeks, five students teams have worked on real-world data they received from NGOs operating in the humanitarian or development sectors with the goal of improving decision making of the NGOs and increasing these organizations’ impact in society.
